How a Customized Tube Mill Line Is Manufactured
Tube mill quality is built through controlled engineering, machining, tooling, assembly and testing. This factory process shows how Zhongyue moves a confirmed project from raw material preparation to shipment.
A connected production process, not isolated machines
The mechanical, electrical and tooling sections need to work together as a complete welded pipe production line.
Zhongyue reviews the buyer's product range, line configuration and workshop conditions before manufacturing begins. The confirmed information guides machining, roll tooling, assembly, testing and delivery preparation.

From raw material preparation to overseas shipment
Each step controls a different source of risk, from part accuracy and line alignment to operation, transport and installation readiness.
Raw Material Preparation
Steel plate, structural material and purchased components are checked against the confirmed drawings and equipment list. Early material control helps prevent dimensional or grade mismatches from reaching machining and assembly.
Precision Machining
Frames, shafts, housings and other mechanical parts are machined to the dimensions required by the tube mill design. Machining accuracy affects stand alignment, transmission stability and long-term dimensional control.
Roll Tooling Processing
Forming, welding and sizing rolls are processed according to the buyer's tube range, material and forming route. Controlled roll profiles help reduce adjustment time and support stable strip forming.
Machine Frame Assembly
Mill stands, bases, gearboxes, shafts and transmission parts are assembled and aligned as mechanical sections. Alignment checks are important for load distribution, roll position and reliable operation.
Electrical & Automation Assembly
Drive systems, control cabinets, sensors, operator interfaces and safety circuits are installed for the agreed configuration. The team checks interfaces between mechanical sections and the electrical control system.
Complete Line Assembly
The major sections are connected in production sequence to confirm layout direction, interfaces and maintenance access. Reviewing the line as one system reduces avoidable changes during overseas installation.
Trial Running
Mechanical movement, drive response, controls and section coordination are tested before delivery. Any issues found during trial running can be corrected while the equipment is still in the workshop.
Factory Acceptance Test
The confirmed inspection scope is reviewed with the project requirements before shipment. FAT records give the buyer a practical checkpoint for configuration, operation and delivery readiness.
Packing & Container Loading
Equipment is identified, protected and arranged for the planned container type and loading sequence. Clear packing and loading control helps reduce transport damage and supports efficient unloading on site.
Shipment
Shipping documents, packing information and project handover materials are prepared for dispatch. Installation planning and technical communication continue as the equipment moves to the customer's factory.
